The internal transition on the rear opening as viewed in the rear flange casting on the throttle housing is different. The Silvertops have a simple round machined opening at the exact same 43mm diameter of the blade / throttle center bore whilst the Blacktop has a lot more of the kidney form to match the various manifold (see “Inlet manifold”).
